Can I bring my dog, cat, fish, etc.?

Do you travel?

Yes, I love animals! The love of my life is my cat, Joey. They are always welcome to join us, but I would suggest bringing someone to help with your pet! Treats and toys are a good call as well to get attention and reward good behavior.

I love Lincoln, Nebraska, but it's nice to photograph in places other than the good life every once in a while. If it's less than a 5 hour drive, I just ask for 60 cents for every mile outside of Lincoln! For longer distances, I ask for other travel expenses such as hotel stays or flights. So far, I've done photoshoots in a few states (Nebraska, Hawaii, Iowa, South Dakota, Colorado, Oregon, Utah, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, and New York) but I would love to add to my list!

How do you describe your style?

I like to keep it fun and authentic. I won't over edit; I like to capture people looking their best without the aid of photoshop. I love candid moments and want people to feel comfortable. I believe the best photos are the ones where you feel natural and are with the people you love. I want you to look at your photos a decade from now and remember how you felt on your wedding day, during your engagement, or during the first days of your child's life.

Why Photography?

I fell in love with photography in a film class my junior year in high school. Since then, I’ve been known as the girl behind the camera and it doesn’t get much better than that. I love that I get to be a part of people's important parts of their lives: getting engaged and married, adding to the family, celebrating another year gone by, opening a business, etc. But the small moments within those big days are what I really look forward to. I don't consider myself to just be a photographer. I will get the photos you need but I've also been known to decorate a wedding cake, bustle a dress, sew up a rip in a bridesmaid's dress, get you food, water, whatever will make your day the best possible.

A few more questions you may have...

  • What should I wear?
Wear what makes you confident, comfortable, and that captures your own style. For some inspiration, check out my
    clothing guide
    or my blog.

  • Where should we take photos?
I recommend choosing location(s) that mean something to you! Otherwise, I would pick locations that match the vibe you’d like to portray. It can be anything from a gravel road, to a sunflower field, to an alleyway. For some inspiration, check out my
    location guide or my blog.

  • How much do we have to put down to book you?
I ask for 25% down to reserve the date for weddings. Other photoshoots require nothing other than your word. I accept cash, check or venmo.

  • How many photos will we get?
Every photoshoot is different. I aim for quality over quantity, but there will be more than enough photos for you to choose from. If there are specific photos you would like, please show me examples so I can make sure to get what you would like.

  • What is your turnaround time?
I like to deliver small sessions in two weeks and weddings in a month. You can download any/all photos that are delivered. You will also be able to order any physical prints you would want for yourself or other family members.

  • What equipment do you use?
    Canon R6, Canon 6D Mark II, Tamron 24-70mm F/2.8, Sigma 35mm 1.4, Canon 50mm 1.8, Canon 85mm 1.8TT560 Speedlite, Gary Fong Diffuser, Lightroom, Photoshop
