Lighting
The best lighting for outdoor photoshoots is the closest to sunset! If my end of day is already booked, the morning is also a great option! The time of day doesn't matter for indoor photos, as long as it isn't dark outside!
Outfits
When thinking about outfits, choose something that you feel confident and comfortable in. Colors and styles matter less than how it makes you feel.
Location
When determining location, choosing a place that means something to you is a good idea: your first date location, your favorite soccer field, a coffee shop you go to all the time, your home, etc. If you can't think of any spaces like that, I have suggestions in the booking tool that are great for sessions such as Pioneers Park, Holmes Lake and downtown.
Props
No matter the type of session, props are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera. Some examples include ultrasound photos for maternity, champagne bottle for engagement, confetti for seniors, etc.
